Buick Terraza was introduced in 2004 in a 4-door minivan body style (2WD and 4WD models). Two trim levels were available: CX and CXL. One petrol engine was available: 3.5 L LX9 V6 produced 196-201 hp (146-150 kW) at 5,800 rpm and 213-221 lb·ft (289-300 N·m) of torque at 4,000 rpm with a 4-speed automatic transmission. In 2006, 3.5L engine was upgraded to a 3.9L engine: 3.9 L LZ9 V6 produced 240 hp (179 kW) at 5,800 rpm and 240 lb·ft (325 N·m) of torque at 4,000 rpm. In 2007, this engine was dropped and a new 3.9L engine was added: 3.9 L LGD 3900 V6 ( a flexible fuel version of the LZ9) produced 240 hp (179 kW) at 5,800 rpm and 240 lb·ft (325 N·m) of torque at 4,000 rpm.
