Chevrolet Trax (also called Holden Trax) was introduced in 2012 in a 4-door SUV body style. Three trim levels were available: LS, LT and LTZ. Four engines were available: 1.4 L A14NET I4 turbo produced 138 bhp (103 kW) at 4,900 rpm 148 lb·ft (200 N·m) at 1,850-4,900 rpm ( in USA with the 6-speed automatic transmission only), 1.6 L A16XER I4 produced 113 hp (85 kW) at 6,000 rpm 114 lb·ft (155 N·m) at 4,000 rpm, 1.8 L A18XER I4 produced 138 hp (103 kW) at 6,300 rpm 129 lb·ft (175 N·m) at 3,800 rpm, 1.7 L A17DTS CDTI I4 turbo produced 128 hp (96 kW) at 4000 rpm 221 lb·ft (300 N·m) at 2,000-2,500 rpm. In 2017, Chevrolet Trax was facelifted. This was a cosmetic upgrade only.
