The 1st generation Citroen C1 was available since 2005 in 3-door hatchback and 5-door hatchback body styles. One petrol engine and one diesel engine were available: 1.0 L 1KR-FE I3 produced 69 hp (51 kW) at 6,000 rpm and 69 lb·ft (93 N·m) at 3,600 rpm, 1.4 L DV4 HDi I4 produced 54 hp (40 kW) at 4,000 rpm and 96 lb·ft (130 N·m) at 1,750 rpm with a 5-speed semi-automatic or a 5-speed manual transmission. In 2009 and 2012, the Citroen C1 was facelifted. The 2nd generation Citroen C1 was available since 2014 in 3-door hatchback and 5-door hatchback body styles. Two petrol engines were available: 1.0 L 1KR-FE I3 produced 69 hp (51 kW) at 6,000 rpm and 69 lb·ft (93 N·m) at 3,600 rpm, 1.2 L EB2DT I3 produced 82 hp (60 kW) at 5,750 rpm and 86 lb·ft (116 N·m) at 2,750 rpm with a 5-speed semi-automatic or a 5-speed manual transmission.
