Honda HR-V repair manuals

The Honda HR-V was available since 1999 in 3/5-door sport-utility wagon body styles (2WD and 4WD models). Vehicles were powered by 1.6L (1,590 cc) SOHC four-cylinder D16W1 engine making 103 hp (77 kW) at 6200 rpm and 100 lb·ft (135 N·m) at 3500 rpm or a four-wheel drive 1.6L (1590 cc) VTEC SOHC D16W5 engine making 123 hp (92 kW) at 6700 rpm and 106 lb·ft (144 N·m) at 4900 rpm. The standard transmission was a 5-speed manual while an automatic continuously variable transmission gearbox was an option. A major change (facelift) during a model run occurred in 2001-2002. The 3-door versions were discontinued in 2003 and 5-door versions in 2006.
