One petrol engine and one diesel engine were available: 2.4 L 4B12 Petrol DOHC 16 valve MIVEC I4 produced 170 hp (125 kW) at 6,000 rpm and 171 lb·ft (232 N·m) at 4,100 rpm, 2.2 L DW12 HDi turbodiesel straight-4 produced 156 hp (115 kW) at 4,000 rpm and 280 lb·ft (380 N·m) at 2,000 rpm with 6-speed semi-automatic and 6-speed manual transmissions.
