Pontiac 6000 was introduced in 1981 in 4-door sedan, 4-door station wagon and 2-door coupe body styles (two trim levels were available: Base and LE). The Pontiac 6000 STE was available since 1984. Six petrol engines and one diesel engine were available: 2.5 L LR8 I4 produced 90 hp (67 kW) [1981-1991], 2.8 L LE2 V6 produced 112 hp (84 kW) [1981-1986], 2.8 L LH7 V6 produced 135 hp (101 kW) [1983-1984], 2.8 L L44 MFI V6 produced 140 hp (104 kW) [1985-1986], 2.8 L LB6 MFI V6 produced 130 hp (97 kW) [1987-1989], 3.1 L LH0 MFI V6 produced 135 hp (101 kW) [1988-1991], 4.3 L LT7 V6 diesel produced 85 hp (63 kW) [1981-1985]. |
