The 1st generation Pontiac Vibe was introduced in 2002 in 5-door hatchback body style. Three trim levels were available: base, all-wheel drive and GT. Two petrol engines were available: 1.8 L 1ZZ-FE LV6 I4 produced 120-140 hp (89-105 kW) at 5,600-6,400 rpm and 122-126 lb·ft (165-171 N·m) at 4,200-4,400 rpm, 1.8 L 2ZZ-GE LNK I4 produced 164-180 hp (122-134 kW) with the 6-speed C60 manual transmission only. |
The 2nd generation Pontiac Vibe was introduced in 2009 in the same body style. Two petrol engines were available: 1.8 L 2ZR-FE I4 produced 128 hp (95 kW) at 6,000 rpm and 126 lb·ft (171 N·m) at 4,400 rpm, 2.4 L 2AZ-FE I4 produced 160 hp (120 kW) at 5,600 rpm and 162 lb·ft (220 N·m) of torque at 4,000 rpm. |
